At the invitation of the co-chairs the Ukrainian-Russian Forum Academician S. Glazyev and NASU academician V. Seminozhenko February 11, 2011 Head of the Bar association Customs & Corporate Lawyers (participating company Customs & Corporate Lawyers), a member of the Expert Council on customs regulation of the Committee on Budget and Taxes Russian State Duma - Konstantin Kurochkin took part in the VIII meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian Forum which took place in the congress center of the hotel "National" in Kiev (Ukraine).
VIII meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian Forum was devoted to the partnership between Ukraine and Russia in the new realities of European and Eurasian economic integration.
Konstantin Kurochkin took part in the discussion of the main themes of the meeting of the Forum: conditions and prospects of trade cooperation between Ukraine and Russia in the WTO, EurAsEC, CES; Ukrainian economic partnership with the countries of the Customs Union; the problem of forming a free trade area of the EU-Ukraine-Community. In the meeting of the Forum, the main theme of the main issues and was attended by Executive Secretary of the Customs Union Commission Sergei Glazyev, academician of National Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Russian-Ukrainian Forum Vladimir Seminozhenko, ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Valery Muntiyan and other influential politicians, famous political scientists and public figures of Russia and Ukraine.
Socio-political Russian-Ukrainian Forum was established in 2007 and is one of the most authoritative and recognized platforms to discuss the future development of Russian-Ukrainian political, economic and humanitarian relations.
In this connection it should also be noted that this event range of issues discussed, in fact, was a continuation of the December 2010 in Kiev Bar association Customs & Corporate Lawyers International Conference "Customs Union - Ukraine: prospects, risks and opportunities".
